Who we are

For more than 60 years, Providers Longford has been a family run business offering personal service and excellent value for money on a wide range of DIY, hardware, electrical, carpets and home furnishing products. We also have a comprehensive Tool Hire department.

What we do

In today’s highly competitive market, we strive to keep our pricing keen while providing an efficient service with friendly and knowledgeable staff, a speedy delivery service, and excellent after sales service. Free delivery is provided to all our customers in Longford and the surrounding counties on goods purchased in our store.

Our history

Established in 1952 by the late Owen McGinnity and Hugh Connolly as Providers (Longford) Ltd, Topline Providers has grown into one of the midland's largest retailers of quality home furnishings and DIY products. It is still under the management of the McGinnity family today. Topline Providers moved to a new 40,000 square feet store in 2008. The store is generously stocked with leading brands to meet all of our customers’ needs.

The local community

We show our appreciation to the Longford community for this ongoing support by engaging in fundraising efforts and regularly hosting fun and free events. We also held cooking demonstrations and family fun days, and organised expert speakers for our customers to enjoy - keep an eye on our Facebook page for future events. We also send a truck to the orphans in Belarus with aid which is kindly donated by the people of Longford and surrounding counties.

The Topline Providers staff represents another strong link to our local community; for example our longest serving staff member is impressively now entering his 48th year with the company.
